The application period will remain open through April 26, 2024.

EXIM’s Advisory Committee provides guidance to EXIM on the agency’s overall policies and programs, particularly on competitive financing to support American jobs through exports. The committee’s 17 members represent small business, environment, production, commerce, finance, agriculture, labor, services, state government, and the textile industry.

The Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee provides advice on strengthening and expanding EXIM financing support for U.S. manufactured goods and services in sub-Saharan Africa. The 11 committee members represent small business, banking, finance, trade promotion, and commerce.

The Council on Climate and Energy Transition advises how EXIM can further support U.S. exporters, deal pipeline development and American jobs in clean energy and meet congressional mandates to support and promote environmentally beneficial renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy storage exports.

The Council on China Competition offers guidance on advancing the comparative leadership of the United States with respect to China and supporting U.S. innovation and employment through competitive export finance.

The Council on Small Business provides guidance to help more American small business exporters find new markets, achieve more sales, and lower the risk of selling internationally.

The Council on Advancing Women in Business advises how EXIM can reach more women business leaders and owners and better consider equity goals set in the agency’s strategy.

Candidates wishing to be considered for membership on any committee or council must complete an online questionnaire and submit a biography, headshot, and letter of interest demonstrating relevant knowledge, experience, and qualifications by 5:30 PM EDT on April 26, 2024.
