House China Hearing Planned

The House Foreign Affairs Committee plans to hold a hearing next week to “identify gaps” in US policy on countering China, including export controls.

Witnesses will include Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Kritenbrink, Commerce Undersecretary for Industry and Security Alan Estevez, Agency for International development Assistant Administrator of the Bureau for Asia Michael Schiffer and International Development Finance Corporation Chief Executive Officer Scott Nathan.

The hearing is slated for February 28, beginning at 10 am in the House Visitors Center, room 210.
