House NDAA Deepens Congress's Economic Security Agenda

While the FY2027 House National Defense Authorization Act does not create a new statutory export-control regime on the scale of last year's Comprehensive Outbound Investment National Security (COINS) Act, it significantly advances Congress's broader economic-security agenda by embedding technology protection, supply-chain intelligence, procurement restrictions, and defense-industrial resilience more deeply into Pentagon operations.
