ITC Steel & Aluminum Greenhouse Gas Questionnaire Released

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) released its final questionnaire to assess greenhouse gas emissions intensity of aluminum production in the United States at the company and facility level.

All U.S. producers will be contacted directly and are required to complete the company-level survey by April 22 and the facility-level surveys by June 8.The data is intended to inform ongoing discussions around the Global Arrangement on Sustainable Steel and Aluminum.

The Aluminum Association advises that if your company manufacturers Section 232-covered products (find the list on page 8 here), your company representative of record for USITC should have already received a company-specific token for completing the online questionnaire.
