Japanese Parts Plant in Mexico Cited Again Under USMCA

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has invoked the USMCA Rapid Response Labor Mechanism to examine whether workers at a Japanese wire harness plant in León, Guanajuato, are being denied the rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining. A similar complaint was filed against the plant two years ago.
