Lawmakers Urge USTR to Prioritize Hardwood Lumber

A bipartisan group of lawmakers is urging the Trump administration to ensure that U.S. hardwood lumber—not raw logs—is included in China’s $17 billion procurement commitment under the newly established U.S.-China Board of Trade.
