President-elect Trump announced Wednesday that his former trade adviser and prominent China Hawk Peter Navarro will return in his next administration as “senior counselor for trade and manufacturing.”
Mr. Navarro served as the Director of the Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy under President Donald Trump from 2017 to 2021. Earlier this year he served four-months in federal prison for contempt of Congress.
