UK Fines Apple for Russian Payments

A U.K. subsidiary of Apple was fined £390,000 after instructing a U.K. bank to send two payments to a Russian app developer that had become owned by a sanctioned person, in a case the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation said underscores the reach of British sanctions rules to non-U.K. firms using U.K. financial channels.
