National Security Investigation into Wind Turbine Imports

The U.S. Department of Commerce has opened a Section 232 national security investigation into imports of wind turbines and their parts, citing potential risks tied to foreign supply chains, subsidies, and state-backed trade practices. The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) formally announced the inquiry in a Federal Register notice dated August 21.
